Choi overshadows Woods during Monday's practice round
South Korean holes out on 9 as Woods approaches 18
The largest crowds at Monday's practice round at Augusta National Golf Club gathered behind the 18th green to watch Tiger Woods complete his round.
But just as the four-time Masters Tournament champion made his approach, K.J. Choi stole the spotlight.
While the patrons faced the 18th, Choi hit the shot of the day behind them at the par-4 ninth. He holed out from 160 yards, creating a roar before Woods even reached the 18th green.
Woods and playing partner Mark O'Meara finished their nine-hole round and headed for the clubhouse without speaking to the media.
Choi, who played the front nine alone, made the turn and joined Masters rookie Sang-moon Bae on the 10th tee.
