Defending champion Watson on the course

Defending champion Bubba Watson is already on Augusta National as practice rounds for the 77th Masters are officially under way.

Watson teed off on the first hole at 8 a.m. and is playing with his buddy Rickie Fowler.

U.S. Open champion Webb Simpson, British Amateur champ Alan Dunbar and Michael Thompson are playing together. The trio started on the second nine.

Phil Mickelson played a practice round Sunday, but he said not to look for him today. The three-time Masters champion typically practices off course for at least one day during majors. He will be back Tuesday.
