O'Meara impressed with Woods' play
Mark O'Meara was impressed with the way Tiger Woods played during a practice round on Sunday as the four-time Masters champion began preparations for the 76th Masters Tournament.
Woods played the front nine with O'Meara, then went to the putting green to practice.
"I really like what he's doing," O'Meara said after he finished his 18-hole round.
Woods is in his second year of work with instructor Sean Foley.
"I think it's feeling a little more natural to him," O'Meara said. "He's such a gifted athlete. I've always been a big fan that he needs to play. He's got an incredible gift. Everything I saw out there today was extremely good."
Woods won his first PGA Tour in 30 months when he took the Arnold Palmer Invitational last Sunday.It was his 72nd PGA Tour victory.
"The win at Bay Hill was huge for him," O'Meara said. "We know what he's capable of doing here even when he's not quite on his game."
