Second round opens with chilly morning
Patrons bundle up for Day 2 at Augusta National
Chilly conditions greeted Masters Tournament golfers and patrons Friday morning as the second round at Augusta National Golf Club began.
Sean O'Hair, Scott Verplank and Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano were the first golfers to tee off just before 8 a.m. and did so with patrons surrounding the first tee bundled in long sleeves.
Louis Oosthuizen, who shot a 4-under 68 Thursday to tie for second, double-bogeyed the par-5 second hole this morning to fall to 2-under for the tournament.
First-round leader Lee Westwood (5-under 67) will tee off at 9:40 a.m.
Peter Hanson, who finished the first round a stroke behind Westwood, is scheduled for a 10:46 start, along with Phil Mickelson.
Tiger Woods will tee off in the second-to-last group at 1:42 p.m.
