Tiger Woods on course for practice round
Tiger Woods, back to No. 1 in the world, began a practice round at hole No. 10 at 3:20 Monday afternoon.
Woods, a four-time Masters winner, was grouped with Dustin Johnson and 14-year old Tianlang Guan, the youngest participant in the tournament's history.
Guan played a round earlier in the day Monday and had spoken about Woods' influence on him at his 1 p.m. conference in the interview room, a little more than two hours before he would be playing alongside Woods.
"I will say when I was probably three or four years old, I was looking at him win the Masters, and it's pretty exciting to watch him," Guan said. "I played with him twice in the past couple of years, and he gives me many advice and I will say every time I play with him, I feel a lot better."
