Swafford keeping it light this week
Hudson Swafford has made the most of his first few days of Masters Week.
Swafford played alongside friend Kevin Kisner during a practice round Wednesday and with a group of friends earlier in the week. Though he understands the magnitude of playing in his first Masters Tournament, he’s keeping things light and having fun with the week.
“We had a little match yesterday with some of our good buddies, and we were kind of ragging on each other,” Swafford said. “It’s another golf tournament, but it’s kind of my Super Bowl.”
Swafford, a University of Georgia product from Tallahassee, Fla., has already heard his share of “Go Dogs” from the crowd. He’s soaking in the experience of being a patron favorite and having fun with Georgia fans.
“The people are fun,” he said. “It kind of makes it what it is. They’re pulling hard for you. It’s been fun the last couple days.”
