Justin Harding earns return invite to Masters
Five bogeys were the story for Justin Harding’s Sunday. The 33-year-old shot 72 in the final round of his first Masters to tie for 12th. It means a return to Augusta – all players tied for 12th or better receive an invitation to next year's Masters.
Harding was only five shots back of leader Francesco Molinari through 54 holes.
Ian Poulter entered Sunday at 9-under but shot 73 to also tie for 12th.
Poulter’s second nine was marred by bogeys on Nos. 11 and 17 and a double bogey on No. 12. A tee shot there into Rae’s Creek knocked him out of contention.
It was one of the 43-year-old’s better results at Augusta. His two top-10 finishes came in 2010 (tied for 10th) and 2015 (tied for 6th).
