First-hand reflections on the back-nine showdown between Wake Forest senior Jennifer Kupcho and Arkansas senior Maria Fassi last April will be among the highlights in the premiere of a one-hour retrospective on the first women's amateur at Augusta National Golf Club.

NBC Sports’ Michele Tafoya narrates "Extraordinary Firsts – The Inaugural Augusta National Women’s Amateur," which chronicles the week of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur at 8 p.m. Tuesday on the Golf Channel.

The film weaves behind the scenes moments and action from the first two rounds at Champions Retreat Golf Club, as well as the Friday practice round and Saturday's final 18 holes at Augusta National. Kupcho and Fassi recount their final round pairing and walk up 18.

“It was just a great experience to walk up on to the 18th green knowing the kind of history Augusta has. It was surreal to be able to do that and know I was going to win,” said Kupcho, who had four birdies to go with the eagle and one bogey for 5-under-par 67 in the final round.

Kupcho finished at a 10-under 206 for the tournament and beat her friend by four strokes. Fassi, who trailed by one shot entering the final round, led Kupcho by two shots after playing the first 10 holes in 3-under. She played the final eight in 1-over for 70 to finish at 210.

“It was just so nice to share that moment with my friend," Fassi said of the walk up 18. "She deserved to win.”

The film also features interviews with several players in the field during the week of the competition, showcasing their experiences, including the tournament's youngest competitor, Alexa Pano.

“Ever since I was seven years old I wanted to be one of the first women to play at Augusta National. Now, the first opportunity that anyone has to be a part of this is such a big deal for me, women’s golf and women’s history. It’s just unreal,” said Pano, the 14-year old two-time Drive, Chip and Putt National Champion, who just missed the playoff to get into the final round.

NBC's coverage of the final round became the most-watched amateur golf telecast in 14 years.

The 2020 Augusta National Women’s Amateur is scheduled to take place Wednesday-Saturday, April 1-4.
