Cabrera-Bello earns Masters spot
Rafa Cabrera-Bello moved into the top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking and earned a spot in the Masters Tournament.
Cabrera-Bello reached the semifinals of the World Golf Championships-Match Play to move up to 36. The Spaniard began last week ranked No. 54.
Cabrera-Bello, 31, will be making his Masters debut.
The Masters invites the top 50 in the world rankings the week prior. No other golfer moved into the top 50 who wasn’t already qualified, leaving the Shell Houston Open this week as the last chance for a golfer to qualify.
