Vaughn Taylor enjoying Masters experience in return
Vaughn Taylor said he's going to enjoy his fourth Masters appearance more this year now that he's older and hasn't played here in eight years.
The 40-year-old Augustan is married to Leot and has a 2-year-old son, Locklyn. He previously played the Masters in 2006-2008.
"When you're younger, you kind of take things for granted," he said. "I thought I'd be here every year."
Taylor has yet to make the cut since winning the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in February. He said he's been focusing on this week.
"This has been in the back of my mind since Pebble," he said. "I feel like I've got a game plan, and I'm working on everything."
Taylor said the worst he's played this year came last week in Houston.
"I didn't play well last week at all," he said. "Confidence is day-to-day. You can get it back as quick as you lose it."
