With all of the bad weather that’s been plaguing the country this winter, it’s a good time to look back on one of the coldest Masters Tournaments.

Zach Johnson won in 2007 with a total of 1-over 289, which matched the highest-winning total in Masters history.

The Iowa native persevered to beat Tiger Woods, Retief Goosen and Rory Sabbatini by two strokes.

How cold was it?

In Saturday’s third round, the temperature was in the mid-40s to low 50s with wind gusts up to 33 mph.

Johnson, who famously laid up on all the par-5s during the tournament, shot a final-round 69 to win.
